After countless hours of research and development coupled with rigorous real world testing we are finally prepared to release our Billet High Clearance Maverick R radius rods for your enjoyment.
Put quite simply these radius rods are bad to the bone. We spent a tremendous amount of effort to make it as compatible with other components and products as much as possible. We solely focused on strength, ground clearance, and end user installation and maintenance.
This kit features six matching radius rods. Their beautifully machined from 7075 Aluminum with our signature diamond pocket look these rods are sure to impress as well as take all the abuse you can give them.
Our package features a fixed lower radius rod with an adjustable middle and upper rod. The middle and upper radius rods feature a smooth outer bore adjuster with a threaded internal hole where a heim joint is placed. The adjuster is inserted into the bore in the end of the radius rod and then clamped in place using two pinch bolts. When adjustment is needed you simply loosen the two pinch bolts and the jamb nut on the heim adjust and then retighten. This clamping method is exactly how most front ball joints are clamped into the steering knuckle.
The most unique thing about this set up is where we place our sway bar. Because of the massive amount of clearance we wanted to gain and also keep a very thick cross section of the rod we elected to move the sway bar inside of the main frame tubes as well as up. This makes sure we gain gain maximum clearance without the risk of contacting the sway bar with he rods. To achieve this we include a fully machined bracket that relocates the sway bar in the desired area.
All of these components are held onto the car using only the best FK heims and bearings, coupled with all 304 stainless hardware ensuring a corrosion free experience.
